How VIPRyde Handles Personal Data
This page explains the practical rules around account data, booking information, payment handling, operational records, and support communications on VIPRyde.
We collect the information needed to run bookings and accounts
That includes account details such as name, email, and optional phone number, plus booking data such as pickup, destination, flight number, passenger contact details, and service preferences.
Operational systems may also store status history, assignment details, audit logs, and support interactions when required to fulfil the ride or investigate an issue.
The main purposes are fulfilment, support, and service improvement
Passenger and route data is used to quote, confirm, dispatch, track, and support bookings. Account data is used for login, profile management, and customer history.
Operational and audit records are used to monitor service quality, investigate incidents, manage partner performance, and maintain a reliable platform.
Card processing should be delegated to specialist providers
Payment details are intended to be handled by secure external payment infrastructure rather than stored directly in VIPRyde application data.
Where third-party processors are used, their own compliance and privacy terms also apply.
We keep data only as long as there is a legitimate operational or legal reason
Booking, billing, and audit records may be retained for support, compliance, fraud prevention, and financial reporting needs.
